Alma Fest — the annual festival dedicated to Almaty’s symbol, the famous Aport apple — brings together culture, gastronomy, and creativity, highlighting the importance of the region’s agricultural heritage and Almaty’s unique identity. Visitors can explore local product markets, attend workshops, enjoy concerts, and take part in a range of entertainment activities.
The highlight of the programme is tasting different varieties of Aport apples and dishes made from them, as well as the opportunity to meet local agricultural producers — supporting the sustainable development of the region and promoting Kazakh culture.
