«Aq Maya Fest» is a festival celebrating the national traditions and steppe culture of Kazakhstan, highlighting the close connection between people, nature, and heritage, with shubat, a traditional fermented camel’s milk drink, representing health and hospitality. The programme features tastings, workshops, nomadic games rooted in the life of the steppe, and evening concerts. Its highlight is a range of shubat-based cocktails and a spectacular drone show over Airakty, a distinctive natural area of the Mangystau landscape, accompanied by live music and encounters with local artisans and farmers, creating a vibrant summer festival atmosphere for guests from around the world.
